A bomber jacket by comme des garcons homme plus. Produced in 1989 from a thickish wool flannel with a green/grey check pattern, the jacket appears at first to be a fairly conventional bomber, with a zip front, angled welt pockets, and ribbing at the cuffs and hem.
However, the jacket is made from the combination a vest and a liner which are buttoned together and which can be detached, leaving either a vest or liner that can each be worn separately. When buttoned together, this construction is apparent from the layered appearance of the shoulder/sleeves.
