A classic shirt dress is a staple in anyone's vintage wardrobe! This is a vibrant blue button down long sleeve shirt dress or jacket. It is dated 1940s and was used as part of a medical uniform, but the buttons don't go down very low, so it may have been used as a jacket over one's clothing. It has buttons at the cuffs and two large hip pockets. There's no label on the inside, it's worn out, but it feels like cotton. It is in excellent condition, but has been hemmed up. It measures Bust 38" Waist 30" Hip 36" Length 34 1/2" shoulder seam to shoulder seam 15". Shown on a dress form measuring Bust 36 inches, Waist 25 inches, Hip 36 inches. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have as this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned. All items are measured flat the same way we measure our reproduction items. The maximum measurement is listed. Most vintage fabrics do no have stretch, so please take into consideration when looking at size.
